The First Nation’s Technical Institute (FNTI) was looking to add solar to their location, creating a Net-Zero Campus. This project had many goals, including environmental sustainability within the materials list, and also incorporating as much Canadian made materials as possible. On top of these requirements, the project demonstrated continuous inclusion of indigenous peoples and materials where we could. This project is centered in the field at the Tyendinaga airfield – one of our largest projects to date, producing ~600MWh of electricity per year!
